BOSTON GEAR RIGHT ANGLE GEAR BOX BEVEL MITER 90 DEGREES 3 WAY GEARBOX

Description

For sale is a new old stock solid HDPE DELRIN gearbox with Boston gear bevel gears. This is a very high-quality unit that has nickel plated brass shaft collars to retain the shafts. The shafts are made from solid brass. They are .125 inches in diameter.
This has never had grease added to it and it's brand new and has never been used. Please note that I added a couple of drops of sewing machine oil to the GEARS to prevent corrosion because I have no idea how long I will have this until it sells.
The ratio is 1 to 1 with no reduction or increase in speed this only changes the plane of rotation.
This does not have a spec sheet but judging from the size I can only assume that it is to be used with smaller lower speed gear motors because of the size of the GEARS. This would be perfect for a hobbyist or somebody with a model railroad that wants to animate something on their layout. Both of the GEARS inside the unit say Boston gear G461-Y

Please note that the sale is just for the gearbox. None of the other measuring instruments are included in the sale. This does not come with the hex key. You will need a .050 inch hex key to remove the lid to add grease or to adjust the shaft collars.
