We've even included a protective silicone layer on the cable connector and an EVA gasket for the backplate. Hardwired installation to outdoor junction boxes is needed to set up the floodlight.

How to Install:
Connect the Wires:
1) Attach the crossbar to the junction box with the screws.
2) Press the adhesive side of the EVA gasket firmly against the rear of the plastic mounting plate.
3) Ensure that the center screw hole and wire slot of the foam gasket are aligned with the screw hole and wire slot.
Mount the Camera:
1) Attach the provided base attachment to the base of the Wyze Cam V3.
2) Attach and screw in the camera tightly to the floodlight.
3) You can mount the camera upside down.

Due its IP65 waterproof feature, protective silicone layer on the cable connector and an EVA gasket for the backplate, it can be installed in outdoor places such as garages, yard, backyard, or alleyways.
